In this workshop, Elizabeth will introduce you to gourd jewellery making. A gourd is a plant of the family Cucurbitaceae, and the name given to the hollow, dried shell of the fruit in the Cucurbitaceae. It is in the same family as the pumpkin. Using pre-cut shards of gourd, you will create a multi-piece necklace. You can choose from an owl in flight, a flower, or you can design a shape of your own.
